Guides: web scraping in Sheets, CSS selectors, SERP tracking.

What a month of scraping costs.

Scraping runs on integration credits. Solo includes 10,000 a month for $20, or 30% less on yearly billing. Team and Business scale that to 50,000 and 135,000. Bring your own AI key on any paid plan and monthly credits rise 50%.

IMPORTXML is free but breaks on JavaScript-rendered pages and rate limits, and cannot touch Amazon, LinkedIn or Instagram. Scraping platforms hand you a CSV to import. SheetMagic writes the rows into the cell you typed the formula in.

Compare plans

Google and YouTube lookups on Solo

3,333a month

3 credits each. Search, Maps, Shopping, News, Trends, Flights, Hotels, Play reviews, YouTube search.

Amazon lookups on Solo

10,000a month

1 credit each. Search, product detail, seller offers.

Page scrapes on Solo

10,000a month

1 credit each on most sites; a rendered page is 2, a bot-protected one up to 9.

Background platform scrapers are priced per row returned, 1 to 84 credits, so a 20-row pull costs a fraction of a 500-row one. Free starts you with 100 credits: about 33 Google lookups or 100 page scrapes.

On a paid plan, skip the formula.

Solo, Team and Business include the AI Chat Agent. Type “pull the transcripts of these 20 YouTube videos and summarise each in two sentences” and it runs the scrape, writes the rows and adds the AI column. Same credits as the formula.
